Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. is partnering with Lenovo on their newest product, the ThinkReality VRX.

In a statement, Qualcomm said ThinkReality VRX is a joint effort between Lenovo and the cutting-edge Snapdragon® XR2+ Gen 1 platform to advance the expansion and implementation of the enterprise metaverse and virtual workspaces. It is built with high-resolution pass-through capabilities for mixed reality (MR) applications.

Lenovo’s latest product is the world’s first VR headset that supports Snapdragon Spaces. This implies that developers will be able to create experiences on virtual reality (VR) headsets that are much more like augmented reality (AR) on optical see-through devices like the ThinkReality A3 AR glasses.

This will allow developers to migrate experiences between AR, MR, and VR, regardless of the device form factor. Lenovo ThinkReality VRX is designed to be the go-to VR solution for immersive 3D training and collaboration. The six-degrees-of-freedom (6DoF) all-in-one VR device is purpose-built and performs exceptionally well.

ThinkReality VRX, which will be sold globally beginning in 2023, joins a long list of Lenovo enterprise XR devices powered by Snapdragon, including the ThinkReality A6, ThinkReality A3, and now the ThinkReality VRX.
