General motors unveiled the two new versions of the Chevy Bolt on Sunday: the brand new Bolt EUV- a compact SUV with more leg room-and an updated Bolt EV hatchback with new updated features and longer range.
Affordability has been the Bolt’s strongest point, offering an adequate range for under $35,000 with a decent size battery. Chevy ensured the Bolt stayed affordable even as it added new features said Chevy vice president for Marketing, Steven Majoros. Keeping the price affordable will help spur EV adoption from its present status of 2 percent of US sales to upwards 15-20 percent of the overall car market.
