2021 is going to be a huge year for electric vehicles. Car-buying experts at Edmunds expect US sales to grow to 2.5 percent from 1.9 percent in 2020; thanks to growing interest from consumers. Notably, 2021 will be the first year that all three major vehicle categories will be represented: 12 SUVs, 11 electric sedans and six pickup trucks, when there were only 10 cars and seven SUVs available in 2020.
